I am pleased to see that Liverpool Council’s work on Banks Road is almost complete, barring a small section at one end. It has involved resurfacing the road, fitting new drains and new drop kerbs, plus putting new traffic calming measures in place. It’s work that was initiated by our Speke Garston Labour Councillors before May’s election and will make a real difference on Banks Road, especially to the two schools down there.
