This weekend I’ve been out in Makerfield campaigning in the by-election there. Voting takes place this Thursday and it was a good chance to get out on the doorstep and hear what voters are thinking going into the final few days campaigning.
We got a good response from those we spoke to in what may be a hard-fought by-election. There is support for both Reform and Restore in the constituency but as we found Labour’s vote is holding up, with undecided voters moving towards Labour. I will be out again this week on polling day and would urge anyone who can give up some time to help to do so.
