This week the Labour Party delivered on another of it’s safer streets promises by making fly-tipping, which blites so many communities, a crime with real consequences. We have given councils tougher powers to deal with offenders, with more fines, more CCTV and seizing and crushing the vehicles of repeat offenders. For years councils simply didn’t have the power needed to combat fly-tipping, but with Labour that is changing. We’re cracking down on waste cowboys and making life easier for everyone else.
That’s the difference Labour makes in government.
