This week I visited Open Awards on the Estuary Commerce Park, a national Awarding Organisation that celebrates its 45th anniversary this year, with the last 21 in Speke. They are a not-for-profit charity that is passionate about changing lives through learning.
I have visited Open Awards before, presenting their Maritime Awards in the past, and am pleased to hear they are still going strong. Their Chief Executive, Heather Akehurst OBE, introduced me to their local team though they have 50 employees across the country. They all work to provide qualifications and assessments that put learners first, with each learner offered their own dedicated advisor. Open Awards pride themselves on this customer service and dedication help their clients achieve.
I was very pleased to help them celebrate four and a half decades of success and am looking forward to hearing about their continued achievements in the future.
