It was great to join the School Council and student leaders from Garston’s Banks Road Primary in Parliament this week. The school was making its annual trip to London where it would normally be booked in with Parliament’s Education Centre but found this year it was over-subscribed which meant they unfortunately missed out. My office was able, though, to get them on a tour of the Palace of Westminster and book the Jubilee Room for a really enjoyable question and answer session with the students.

I am looking forward to visiting Banks Road again in the next few weeks to hear about the rest of their trip around London and hear their thoughts on Parliament and what they learned on the tour.
