On Friday I visited the new Plusdane Housing development in Woolton, Lime Tree Court. The development consists of 31 flats in the main building and two in the coach house, which is a listed building. The flats are purpose built, including some that are specially-designed for disabled tenants with complex needs.

I was shown round one of these flats by Gerry, a tenant who moved in six weeks ago. The flat he has been given meets his needs and he is very happy there. He was keen to tell me that he is already settled and, alongside his cat, loves his new home.

I wasn’t surprised to hear all 31 flats are already occupied and heard from Plusdane and other tenants how successful the development already is.
