On Saturday I was pleased to attend an event at St Mary’s Church Hall arranged by Liverpool Garston BAME Officer Ezinne Ike and the Liverpool BAME Network where I spoke to attendees about how to get involved in politics and how people can contribute to positive change through this involvement. I then answered a range of questions on subjects including overcoming racism in the workplace and how we can radically stand up to wider discrimination.
