On Tuesday I visited BAE Warton in Lancashire to meet the teams working on some of their world-leading combat air programmes, which are vital in supporting the UK’s national defence and security.

While there I met some of their apprentices and met with representatives from trades unions to discuss the work being done at the site. They are key to the production of the Eurofighter Typhoon, one of the world most advanced fighters jets, as well as the development of the next generation of air combat technology.
