This week as part of the Shadow Defence Team I met with the French Ambassador to the UK, Helene Duchene, at the French Embassy in London. It is one of a number of recent meetings that I have held as Shadow Minister for Defence Procurement with Ambassadors and officials from across our NATO allies. We discussed defence procurement by a future Labour government ahead of a possible General Election this year.

On Wednesday, alongside colleagues from the Shadow Defence Team, I also met with recently-retired NATO General Tod Wolters in Parliament for a briefing on current developments in Ukraine.
