Over summer I met Mandy at Riverside Floating Support, which provides housing support and advice at locations through Garston and Halewood, including STEC in Speke. With the cost of living crisis and the energy cap price rise Mandy and her colleagues are hearing terrible stories of residents and families who cannot afford to keep their heads above water already, before energy prices are hiked up in October. The service has found more and more new clients coming to see them every week as their finances are stretched to breaking point.
