Today I took my Public Advocate Bill (No.2) back to the House as a Presentation Bill. The Bill has support across both sides of the House but the Government has objected to it repeatedly since 2016. Unfortunately I was not successful today but will return the Bill back to the House again on Friday 9th September and will continue to do so until the Bill is passed.
