It was fantastic on Friday to play a part in the opening of the new Barton Day Nursery at the New Hutte Children and Family Hub.

As you can see on the video I was joined by Council Leader Cllr Graham Morgan and many of the friends and volunteers who helped transform the building into a bright and welcoming space for young children. The interior and outdoor areas look great with a range of activities for the kids to enjoy.

I was pleased to see the new nursery providers are committed to being part of the local community, and offering Halewood families much needed child care right now on their doorstep. Thanks to everyone involved.
