It was great to join Speke Garston Councillor Leon Tootle and Councillor Sharon Connor earlier this week as Leon consulted local residents, including children, about how the West Speke play area on Blackrod Avenue can be improved using S106 money local Labour Councillors have secured.
One of the young consultees had a great and very selfless idea – that there should be seats for any older people accompanying so they can rest up while their grandchildren play. How very thoughtful!
